At TeraMach, we believe that it is our responsibility to continuously improve the quality of life in our community.  TeraMach has supported numerous charities, sports teams and non-profit organizations over the years.  TeraMach's major sponsorships include Candlelighters and the Ottawa Fury Soccer organization.

Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Support Programs

Candlelighters was established in 1988 as part of the Candlelighters Cancer Foundation of Canada network of local and parent support groups. Candlelighters is a not-for-profit volunteer organization that provides comfort and resources to young cancer patients being treated at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario and to those they depend on for strength and support.

TeraMach has been the presenting sponsor for "Chipping in For Charity" since 2004.  This charity golf tournament is held annually with all profits going directly to Candlelighters.  On June 6, 2006, over 150 golfers participated in a great day of golf at GreyHawk Golf Course and raised $47,000 for the kids!  In addition to sponsorship, TeraMach is proud to be actively involved on the Organizing Committee for the golf tournament and assist in various activities during the year.

Ottawa Fury Soccer Academy

The Fury Academy is a professional development program for girls and boys aged 10-13 years of age.  The Academy provides the opportunity for young talented soccer players in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec to receive high quality specialist coaching in the key development years. Young players more than any others need to have access to the highest standards of coaching within a structured and professional development environment to ensure that they have the opportunity to fulfill their talent and potential. It is the first formal step in the Fury player development program and is aimed at players who have the desire, aptitude and potential to play soccer at the highest levels; collegiate, club and national. 

TeraMach was a proud sponsor of the Academy 1 Girls Squad for 2006 during their inaugural season.  Congratulations to the team on a great 2006 season which wrapped up with a well deserved silver medal at the Royals Tournament!
