Digital Asset Management Project 

TeraMach studied the storage requirements for a Canadian Federal Government organization's multimedia management project. This included development of the technical specifications and architecture of a storage network to support a digital asset management system.  The desired system would provide a repository for digital audio-video data, multimedia archives, digitized images and storage consolidation for an existing server farm.

After extensive interviews with principal stakeholders, TeraMach conducted workshops to refine and prioritize SAN requirements, identified storage architecture and management components for Multimedia and IT, prepared a draft SAN/NAS architecture and designed the server and network architecture for the Digital Asset Management system.

The client was able to use the resulting document to write comprehensive SAN RFP specifications that addressed its complete requirements.
 

The Result:

The customer has implemented a multi-site SAN and backup infrastructure for disaster recovery purposes.
